Cary Grant. I think I've found a new obsession. By accident I watched the movie Charade starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn this weekend. Thought I was watching The Truth about Charlie, but it was on the other side of the DVD. Charade is the original on which it was based and the DVD included it as a "bonus." A bonus in more ways than one since I probably would never have rented Charade on my own, but I loved it and am now totally hooked on Cary Grant. The man is seriously sexy - kind of an old world George Clooney. Millions of women have probably obsessed over Mr. Grant before me - well, add another fan to the list! Am determined to watch his whole body of work now.

Another work week begins tomorrow. The new job is OK but is not very stimulately so far. It's far from strategic as I'm ordering promo items, keeping track of display materials - stuff that at a secretary/assistant can and should be doing; stuff that I was doing at the beginning of my career and not what I should be doing six years later. Hopefully it will improve as time goes on, or I will have to find some way to make it improve.

The most exciting thing in my life these days is that I am training for a triathlon with Lisa Homer. We swim two evenings a week together and it is the highlight of my week. I feel strong and confident in the water and get faster and better each time. And I feel so empowered and positive about myself afterwards - it's all good. Starting this week I've got to incorporate some running into my fitness regime or I'll never be able to pull off that 5K at the end. The triathlon is June 23rd at the Wasa Lake Provincial Park. Stay tuned for updates!
