Sunday, January 12, 2003 House shopping. That's what I spent the afternoon doing with Tania. Just browsing, of course, but we'll see how long I can fend off the desire to clutch my meaty hands onto one of the little devils. Found a penthouse condo in the new Erlton development by Lindsay Park that I really loved, but Tania and I figured out that assuming I put 25% down, my mortgage payments, including condo fees and taxes, would be about $1,800/month. Unfortunately too steep for this gal to handle on her own. I really shouldn't even be thinking about house hunting until I find myself a full-time permanent job. Who knows maybe I'll land into a high-paying corporate job and I'll be able to swing those mortgage payments no problemo...yeah, keep on dreaming Cherine, I'd have to be earning about $70,000 to afford that.
