Wednesday, January 08, 2003 The first three weeks are always the toughest. Apparently three weeks are how long it takes to adjust to a new environment and schedule. Started my contract position at the United Way this week. Such a lovely group of people I work with on the communications team - I could have a lot of fun with those gals. Not really sure where this whole contract thing is going though. On the one hand I think I could really like the UW, on the other hand it may not be sexy enough for me. And then, of course, there's always the question of dough. Want the big moula but without the associating stress, anxiety and lifestyle shift. When will I write that novel of mine and make my millions already so that I don't have to keep banging my head against this connondrum. Back at work in communications one thing I do realize is that I am a damn good writer. Play to your strenghts right?
