Tuesday, January 06, 2004 It's all good. Two days into my risk communications seminar and I've fallen madly in love. I think I've found my research area here folks, in fact, I could devote the rest of my life to this. Wish every week of my life was this interesting. Even though it's still five days away, the return to work on Monday is looming like a cloud of dread over me. To be fair, my work is actually pretty stimulatiing in and of itself, it's just not undeniably fascinating and titallating, like this course is. Although, that may change. I talked to my boss today - checkin' in don'tcha know, gotta show I'm conscientious - and she let it drop that the rumour on the street is that my company has been bought by the french multinational TotalFina. Lynn NEVER dabbles in rumours, so she must be pretty confident if she's saying something like this. May explain why are stock price has gone through the roof in the last three weeks - up almost $15!! Hey, if it means I get to go to Paris and can buy that chocolate ultrasuede couch from Domicile when I exercise those stock options, it's all good. posted by Cherine | 11:55 PM |
